• Bachelors degree in a technical or engineering discipline, such as Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience• Masters degree in an Information Technology field is preferred• Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCIE are a plus• Strong customer presentation skills• Ability to multi-task and work in an high energy environment• In-depth knowledge in designing technical solutions around IP and Video• Good understanding of IP Video. Alternatively, strong VoIP experience is a plus.• Sound working knowledge of Video conferencing technologies (infrastructure and endpoints)• 5+ years experience designing, installing and maintaining mission-critical IP network and computing solutions• Strong working knowledge of VPN/Firewall technologies• Strong ability to asses and document customer requirements and develop proposals• The ability to be successful with minimal supervision while remaining a strong team player• Proficient in Microsoft Visio and creation of network designs

Description
The Solutions Architect is responsible for owning and/or developing the technical solution being proposed to customers and working directly with the Sales and Global Services teams.
Key responsibilities
• Alignment of prospect requirements to service delivery capabilities
• Owning the development of content (technical and scope of services) for RFP/RFI proposals
• Proposing standard solutions with out-of-the-box thinking for non standard bids
• Accountability for the technical solution sold to customers
• Creation of clear and concise hand off (transition package) from Sales to the Global Services team.
